Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
The gold was spiritual value, praying for each other with the understanding and in tongues; the white raiment is virtue, righteousness, the continuing of our walk towards perfection, living a holy life, wanting to be a better person for Messiah’s sake, cleansing ourselves by the blood of forgiveness and confession, partaking in communion judging ourselves, delighting in correction.
Isaiah 48:9-12For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. 10Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 11For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. 12Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
Are you called? Of course you are and you are the chosen, grafted into the commonwealth of Israel by your faith in His Son’s name: Yahushua.
Jeremiah 7:9-11Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith Yahuweh.
Do we think because of Yahushua’s blood we can continue to do these things without God caring?
Psalm119:71-77 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. 72The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
73YOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.74They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.75I know, O Yahuweh, that thy judgments are right, and that Thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.76Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. 77Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Father let us understand thy judgments our eyes open to correction. Let gold come forth of our lips to intercession for ourselves and others. Let Grace have its perfect work. Sanctify us by your Holy Spirit of truth. That we are not left behind, count us as worthy to be hid in the time of trouble. May we serve you not as the Laodiceans. We stand in the Fear of Yahuweh performing your will and ways.
