Weighing the Scriptures
Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Humbling ourselves before others. Shama Israel!
Luke 6:36-37 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
We are not to judge for sin but for prayers of mercy. We are to make intersession prayers for those who transgress, sins not unto death.
I John 5:16-17 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will Yahuweh wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Yahuweh is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
God is a God of judgment are we to be different?
I Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
If we walk in the Spirit than we are judged of no man, only when we walk after the flesh are we judged of the world and God.
I Corinthians 11:28-32 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Not to discern is not to understand the things which are Spiritual! We are to judge ourselves and ask for the cleansing of Yahushua’s blood, and that iniquity does not control us, looking in our hearts so that the chastening of Yahuweh is light or not at all. Nothing! Nothing, bad happens to believers.
If this isn’t true than your God is not all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere, you have put him in a box. Satan has no power over a believer other than that which YOU give him.
I John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Is this a contradiction?
Following is a commentary from Matthew Henry’s Commentary.
“Then there are sins which, by divine constitution, are unto death; and that either death corporal or spiritual and evangelical. First, Such as are, or may be, to death corporal. Such may the sins be either of gross hypocrites, as Ananias and Sapphira, or, for aught we know, of sincere Christian brethren, as when the apostle says of the offending members of the church of Corinth, For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep, 1 Co. 11:30. There may be sin unto corporal death among those who may not be condemned with the world. Such sin, I said, is, or may be, to corporal death. The divine penal constitution in the gospel does not positively and peremptorily threaten death to the more visible sins of the members of Christ, but only some gospel-chastisement; for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth, Heb. 12:6. There is room left for divine wisdom or goodness, or even gospel severity, to determine how far the chastisement or the scourge shall proceed. And we cannot say but that sometimes it may (in terrorem—for warning to others) proceed even to death.”
We see from this commentary Matthew Henry agrees with these teachings on chastisement.
We are to judge the things of the Spirit, both in our lives and the lives around us, using the Word and the Spirit as the discerner.
Father let wisdom and mercy be our guide to the intercession of the Saints and the world. May our judgments be true and your justice be swift our enemies and chastisement to your people be with understanding and mercy.

I John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
