Tabernacles
Leviticus 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
John 7:2 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.
So what all happened during this feast?
John 7:37-39  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
This entire chapter happens during the feast.
Matthew 17:1-4 1And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Mark chapter 8-9 takes place during the feast of tabernacles.
Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
Luke 9:28-29 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.  29And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
The feeding of the five thousand happened on the feast of tabernacles.
Zechariah 14:16-21 6And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahuweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahuweh of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahuweh will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.  19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.  20In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO YAHUWEH; and the pots in Yahuweh’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.  21Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto Yahuweh of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of Yahuweh of hosts.
Yahushua, Jesus; was born on the 1st day of the feast, circumcised and given His name Yahuweh who saves, Yahushua on the 8th great day.
Father give us wisdom to see the importance You put on this feast for all time and for all people. Let us honor You and Yahushua with our observance. Halle lu YAH
