Hosea

Hosea was ordered by God to take a wife of whoredoms chapter 1. He again in 4 is told to pay for another.
Hosea 3:4-5 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:  5Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek Yahuweh their God, and David their king; and shall fear Yahuweh and his goodness in the latter days.
Ephod(646) is a tallis, taleet / Teraphim(8655 from 7495) type of idol for healing. God says we are going to be without them.
Hosea 4:1 1Hear the word of Yahuweh, ye children of Israel: for Yahuweh hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Ephraim are the believers, (the USA and England), believing nations; Judah are Jews.
Hosea 5:14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. 15I will go and return to my place, (rapture of His jewels) till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. 
His people are calling to Him right now because of what is going on in the world today. Let me show you what’s next!
Isaiah 3:1-3 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts,(This is Yahushua) doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, 2The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, 3The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
Hosea 6:4-7 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.  5Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.  6For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. 7But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
I’m taking you the rest of the way through Hosea, do not think because many of these things have happened that they won’t or aren’t happening now!
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
If you think the Christian church is the cat’s meow your wrong, we have gone astray just as Israel did. If you do not think so, ask a Christian what the New Covenant is, Why did Jesus die?
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

“Oh but God’s different now!” Sorry He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Remember the warnings to the seven churches in Revelation 2-3?
Yahushua (Jesus) describes a middle ground for “Christians” they are called the Laodiceans, described as neither hot nor cold for God.
I have heard some of you say “Oh they are not saved” The pre-tribulation rapture is the gathering of His jewels, (Malachi 3:17) special treasure, first fruits. We are looking for His return, they are not. They are not discerning what Yahushua has done, and judging themselves with a humble and contrite spirit, therefore falling into chastisement (correction). He said He is going to spew them out of His mouth. Five wise virgins and five foolish, five were ready for the bridegroom five were not.         Micah ch.7
Hosea 7:2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
Hosea 7:12-13 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard. Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
How many “Christians” have forsaken the precepts of God and gone their own way? How many denominations are there? One says, “We speak in tongues” another says, “We pray to Mary”; We move in the gifts; Speaking in tongues is evil; You can lose your salvation; you can not lose your salvation; I don’t sin any more Jesus paid for that. I can’t have a demon I believe in Jesus. Ect. Ect. Ect.
God is looking for a people that will seek Him in truth. That read the bible understand it by His Holy Spirit.
Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves (judge yourselves) in righteousness, reap (judge others) in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek Yahuweh, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
The purpose of Yahushua’s sacrifice was that I might go before the Father (Holy of Holies) for forgiveness of my offences by His Son’s blood 490 times a day if necessary being restored immediately in His eyes.
Hosea 11:7 and my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
Hosea 11:9-10 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. 10They shall walk after Yahuweh: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west. 11They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith Yahuweh.

This is a picture of the Hebrew wedding, where the bridegroom does not enter into the house again. I Thessalonians 4:17.
Hosea 13:1-4 When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died. 2And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.   3Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney. 4Yet I am Yahuweh thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
Hosea 14:1 O Israel, return unto Yahuweh thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of Yahuweh are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

A little note about Hosea, he was taught by Elisha. He died in Babylon and gave instructions to put his body on a camel and send it off to be interred in the Holy land. This was a dangerous journey so the camel set out alone. The camel went from Babylon to the Holy Land unhindered and arrived in Safed where he was buried with great honors.

We are to walk in the precept of the love of God and for our brothers. We are to pray for our president and country and stand united against evil. Understand that Jews are the Fathers according to the word. Enemies to the cross of Messiah for His purpose, blinded for a time, yet brothers to us according, Ezekiel being made as we see one in the Fathers hand. We are the Israel of God by faith that of the Spirit.
Father may we serve You in reverence knowing by Your prophets things to come. Serving with humility, judging ourselves in love of the blood of Your Son shed for us, remembering Your love for us.
Shama Israel, Yahuweh our God, Yahuweh is one and we shall love Yahuweh with all our heart, soul, mind , and strength, and love our neighbor as our selves. This is Your precept, Your will. Halle lu YAH!
